About
An Australian fragrance house, built around a single scent and the place that produced it.
Katja grew up in the Mediterranean, where travel was always a matter of smell before sight. A lemon grove near the sea. Pine forests in the heat. Spices in a market. Places arrived as scent first and stayed that way afterwards, long after the details had gone.
When she came to Australia she found the same thing in a different key — bigger, rawer, and entirely unfamiliar. The Sunshine Coast became home, and the idea followed: to have that composed properly, as a fragrance rather than a souvenir.
The scent
Acqua Noosa opens bright and citrus. The heart is where the coast arrives, marine and herbal, softened by lavender. It settles into cedarwood, sandalwood, amber and musk.
It was composed by perfumers working to a brief rather than assembled from a catalogue, and it took a long time to get right. There is one fragrance, and there will be one fragrance.
What is in it
Australian distilled sandalwood and native botanicals — basil, lavender and lemon — with cedarwood, cardamom, geranium, bergamot, patchouli and peppermint, in an organic sugar cane ethanol base.
No dyes, phthalates, parabens, ketones or heavy metals. Vegan and cruelty free. Blended, bottled and finished in Australia, in French glass.
Giving back
We have partnered with Greenfleet Australia, committing to plant native species and reduce our carbon footprint. Biodiverse native forests capture and offset carbon emissions, improve soil and water quality, and provide habitat for native wildlife.
Every purchase contributes to that.
